The structure of modern radio transmitting devices may include antennas formed of both metal and dielectric components-metal-dielectric antennas. They are compact enough and can be placed on various objects of equipment. The paper presents a simulation of a metal-dielectric antenna based on a combined approach. The scheme of antenna construction in different planes is given. The process of scattering of a plane electromagnetic wave on an antenna is considered. The combined algorithm including the method of the integral equation, parallel approach and genetic algorithm is developed. In this paper, the integral equation is used to determine the unknown surface electric currents on the antenna surface, it is solved on the basis of the method of moments. A parallel algorithm was used to speed up the calculations. The impedance matrix is represented as a block matrix. Each block has its own parallel stream. Taking into account the influence of a plane dielectric waveguide on the scattered field, a method associated with a generalized scattering matrix is used. To solve the problem of multi-alternative optimization associated with determining the linear dimensions of the antenna device at a given operating frequency of the antenna, a genetic algorithm is used. As a result, the dimensions of the designed antenna for the specified dimensions of its components are obtained.

THE MODELING OF COMPLEX ANTENNA DEVICES ON THE BASIS OF THE APPARATUS OF THE GENERALIZED SCATTERING MATRIX

UDC 621.396

Y. Shtefanovich, Y. S. Sakharov

Currently, the active development of the telecommunication facilities, used by an increasing number of transmitting and receiving devices can be observed. Between nearby objects in space (antennas, metal-dielectric structures) occurs electrodynamic interactions that affect their work. This paper aims to develop methods for the assessment of the characteristics of this interaction. A leading approach to the study of this problem is the use of a method based on generalized scattering matrix. Knowledge of the generalized scattering matrix provides the possibility for calculations of the characteristics of the antenna system, without considering the geometry. By analogy with the use of matrices of two-and multiprobe used in electrical circuits, generalized scattering matrix is carried out to minimize the calculations for the analysis of complex antenna systems. The paper presents the results of modeling of the interaction loop antenna ball, which is formed of a dielectric material. The dispersion characteristics were calculated based on the method of integral equations. On the basis of calculations of the electrodynamic interaction between objects is possible to estimate the influence of the position of the antennas on the level of measured electromagnetic fields. The materials of the article are of practical value to professionals associated with the design of wireless networks indoors.

The analysis of such methods, based on which we can assess the level of electromagnetic fields inside premises. It is shown that on the basis of the deterministic methods achieve a higher accuracy of calculations of scattering characteristics of radio waves, when compared with statistical approaches. Occurs building the tree of beam propagation, while fundamentally we see the beam coming from the transmitting device and each point of reflection or diffraction are generated by the additional rays. When multipath propagation of the signal we are seeing some of the most significant effects: fading, time dispersion, the angular modulated carrier. The model rectangular space, which is calculated in the framework of the ray method.
