FORMATION OF AN INDIVIDUAL SCHEDULE FOR STUDYING THE MATERIALS OF THE DISCIPLINE IN AN ELECTRONIC ENVIRONMENT
IN A LIMITED TIME OF TRAINING
The article presents the methodology for personalizing the schedule in the electronic educational environment for studying educational materials in the framework of the academic discipline. To solve this problem, approaches to personalization of training used in e-learning are considered. The central aspect of the study was the ability to effectively use the time allotted for study, which is especially important when studying at the university, according to the general curriculum. Factors that require an individual training schedule have been identified. These include the various initial preparedness of the student, personal qualities, different approaches of students to the organization of their work. The relationship of these factors with the student’s pace was noted and a functional diagram of the process of adaptive management of student learning activities was developed. The proposed method involves a dynamic change in the requirements for the level of development of educational material, depending on the current achievements of the student. Studying the educational material even at a level lower than planned will give the student a holistic view of the subject area being studied. Analysis of the results of practical application of the method in an electronic educational course on the Moodle platform shows that students in the allotted time for training in General master the entire program of the discipline.

INFORMATION SUPPORT OF ACADEMIC MOBILITY PROCESS USING KNOWLEDGE REPRESENTATION MODELS

The article discusses and analyzes the processes of academic mobility, shows the features of each type of mobility and identifies data sources. The main problems that arise during the formation of the educational route are identified. These problems are associated with the processing of large amounts of information. The necessity of automation the information support of academic mobility to ensure the effective implementation of an individual educational route is justified based on statistical data. A review of the current state of the problem showed that in the field of educational route management and academic mobility, the issues of using information support are not sufficiently disclosed. The authors show the educational route planning process within the framework of academic mobility as the most time-consuming, requiring the involvement of experts to make decisions. The organization of informational support is represented by developing knowledge representation models (decision trees) based on the application of production inference rules to analyze possible solutions when forming an educational route. The “Decision Tree” is based on the results of the analysis of decision-making procedures in the educational process within the framework of each type of academic mobility. The developed rules allow to implement in the knowledge base the experience and knowledge of experts in making decisions related to academic mobility. The system developed by the authors is introduced into the educational process and is used by the dean’s staff.

INFORMATION DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY IN THE FORMATION OF COGNITIVE ACTIVITY OF THE STUDENT OF MEDICAL HIGHER EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENTS IN THE PROCESS OF STUDYING NATURAL

The article deals with the problem of the influence of information technologies of education on the activation of educational and cognitive activity of students of higher educational institutions. The purpose of the study is to study the influence of information digital technologies on the activation of educational and cognitive activity of students of the medical Institute in the process of studying natural Sciences. The article reveals the role of natural Sciences in the professional development of students of medical University; based on the use of appropriate methodological tools (observations, questionnaires, analysis of the results of educational activities, survey, testing, data statistical processing methods) defined the nature and structure of educational-cognitive activity of students; identified the potential of digital technology in enhancing learning and cognitive activity of students in the process of studying of natural-science disciplines; psychological and pedagogical conditions of effective application of information digital technologies in activization of educational and cognitive activity of students of medical Institute in the course of studying of natural science disciplines are allocated. The results of the study showed that the systematic use of information digital technologies in: strengthening the emotional appeal of educational and cognitive activity; implementation of differentiated and individual approaches in educational activities; organization of the educational process as a joint activity of the teacher and students in the dialectical unity of three sides: personal, functional, subject and the formation of joint activities of social and professional reflection; adequate control, analysis and evaluation of the results of independent activity in the educational process of medical school in the study of natural Sciences contributes to the activation of educational and cognitive activity, the development of all its components.

APPLICATION OF DATA MINING TOOLS FOR ANALYSIS AND FORECASTING OF LEARNING SATISFACTION

The article discusses the features and results of using data mining tools, an application for building See5 decision trees, with which a number of parameters are determined on the basis of sociological survey data that are most important for assessing student satisfaction. Along with the features of using a software tool for data analysis in the work, the procedure for preparing data for downloading and further analysis is shown. At the same time, not only file formats loaded into the application are presented, but also approaches to cleaning and aggregating source data, including in order to reduce their dimensionality. Interpretation of the results of constructing decision trees – classification rules obtained during processing, is aimed, inter alia, at choosing the optimal settings for processing the source data. The classifier constructed using the data of a sociological survey showed that such parameters as the atmosphere of interpersonal relations, recognition of the achievements of the student, and the prestige of the educational organization have a significant impact on the classification. The paper also describes the procedure for assessing the predicted values of student satisfaction based on the input of the estimated values of the classification features.

INFORMATION RECEIVING IN ONLINE TRAINING PROCESS MANAGEMENT BASED ON COMPLEX OPEN ENDED ASSIGNMENTS SCORING
Information gathering stage is one of the most important stages in management. The efficiency of management depends on received information. Information gathering methods depend on an object of management specificity. Testing results are the main information in training process management in training systems. Collected statistics of the testing results is the base for decision-making. A problem occurs when a training course contains tasks, implementation results of which cannot be checked by means of tests. Such tasks are complex open ended assignments. Different methods are used for scoring such tasks in learning management systems and massive open online course platforms. The methods are addressed in the paper. Method classes such as: methods implemented by standard tools of training systems (student self assessment, peer assessment, tutor or external expert manual assessment), methods implemented by extending the functional possibilities of training systems (situational assignment), methods implemented by external programs (special methods for specific domain) are described. Applicability of methods for information gathering in online training process management is identified. Reliable and complete information can be received only by using situational assignment and special methods for specific domain.

MATHEMATICAL MODELING OF THE TASK OF DETERMINING A SET OF CONTROL EVENTS USING A FUZZY METHOD OF ANALYSIS OF HIERARCHIES AND A METHOD BASED ON MEASURING LATENT VARIABLES

The article discusses the mathematical modeling of the problem of multi-criteria selection of control measures for the ongoing monitoring of performance using two methods: a method of fuzzy analysis of hierarchies and a method based on measuring latent variables (the Rush method). Both methods are expert methods. The advantage of using a fuzzy hierarchy analysis method is to describe the relative attribute values using fuzzy numbers instead of exact ones. Due to this, the expert gets the opportunity not only to assess the degree of preference of one object over another, but also to express his doubts, experience, intuition in this assessment. The main disadvantage of this approach is the complexity and complexity of the calculations. The advantages of the Rush method are in the simplicity of calculations, in the transition from the subjective assessments of experts to the objective ones, which possess the property of linearity. Within the framework of the constructed hierarchical model aimed at increasing the efficiency of the learning process, weights of different types of control measures are determined by these methods. In the future, the weights obtained can be used as parameters in the models for the formation of a set of control measures based on minimizing the difficulty of their implementation and maximizing their usefulness.

A CONCEPT OF ONLINE AUTOMATED TRAINING PROCESS MANAGEMENT IN IMPLEMENTING COMPLEX OPEN ENDED ASSIGNMENTS BASED ON THE USE OF ERROR BANK
Online learning is widely distributed. This type of learning can take place at specific university by means of learning management system or by means of massive open online course platforms independently of universities. Management problems arise in existing training systems if a training course contains assignments, result of implementation of which cannot be checked by standard tests. This relates to knowledge and skills assimilation management and to training process management. A class of assignments which causes difficulties in online learning and training management (complex open ended assignments) is described in the paper. A concept of online automated training process management based on the use of error bank in implementing such tasks is suggested. The concept is based on system and process management approach, classification of errors made by students during complex open ended assignment implementation, the principle of management subsidiarity, automated training. Using of a specific software package, which contains software modules for automated scoring, information collection and processing, decision making, on a par with learning management systems with functionality of the automated training is proposed to increase the effectiveness of management.

METHODOLOGICAL AND DIDACTIC FEATURES OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES USAGE IN THE PROCESS OF MATHEMATICAL EDUCATION OF FUTURE ENGINEERS

Methodological and didactic features of the usage of information technologies in the process of mathematical education of future engineers are revealed in the article. The didactic aspect of the implementation of mathematical education with the use of information technology is based on a careful selection of the content of training in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standards of Higher Education; methodical — involves the choice of effective forms of conducting classes using the capabilities of information technology, the organization of independent work (classroom and non-auditory). We define the concept of “information technology training”. Examples of actively used means of information technologies are given. This allows us to improve continuously the content and the teaching methods, and to increase the effectiveness. The process of mathematical education is based on the orientation on the requirements of the future profession, taking into account the individual character features of students. Strengthening the applied component is carried out by introducing special mathematical courses, developed in conjunction with the profiling departments, as well as solving professionally-oriented tasks using such software as Excel, Mathcad, Maplе, Mathematica. An example of a professionally-oriented task is provided in the article. The stages of the students’ activities organized by the teacher to solve it are described in details.

ADAPTIVE AUTOMATED SYSTEM AS A TRAINING DIFFERENTIATION MEANS IN THE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALISTS EDUCATION PROCESS

One of the most effective ways to implement a differentiated approach in the information technology (IT) specialists training which consists in the adaptive automated learning system use is proposed in the article. The system will allow to store a large amount of educational information, to modify it if necessary, to adapt it to different categories of users in accordance with their level of initial training, to check the formation of competencies and analysis of mistakes made by students in the control testing process. The system dataware includes a relational database (DB), which contains theoretical information of the discipline, exercises and control tasks on all topics, adapted to different categories of students, as well as a table in which all erroneous answers of users are entered during the control testing for further analysis. The software contains the users automatic classification module which is based on the cluster analysis method and allows at the input control stage to form four groups of students depending on the level of residual knowledge obtained in the previous disciplines study, corresponding to the marks as “excellent”, “good”, “satisfactory” and “unsatisfactory”, in order to differentiate the educational material. The training program module is designed to solve the problems of new knowledge acquiring by students of different groups, using the theoretical knowledge obtained in the practical tasks implementation and checking the competence formation level. In the event that the level has not reached the baseline, the error analysis module allows to determine which discipline subjects have caused the greatest difficulties for the student to re-study.

AUTOMATION OF PERSONALIZED FEEDBACK IN THE PROGRAMMING STUDIES COURSES
The use of automatic feedback can significantly increase the success of beginners in programming, especially for those who have to study inside a large group, and the teacher’s time is limited. The article proposes an approach to the creation of automatic feedback based on previous solutions. The approach is to form a solution space of programs – weighted graph. The nodes in the graph are the program code; the edge weight is the number of changes and actions that need to be performed in order to go from one state to another. To reduce the number of unique solutions, the source code is normalized using a number of transformations and the construction of an abstract syntax tree. Feedback is a hint of the next step, which can be generated after a new solution is added to an existing graph and the path leading to a more correct state is identified. Thus, with the help of feedback you can reach the right decision. Using the solution space also allows you to find out which solutions are most common, which errors occur and which ways they can be corrected students prefer. Since this approach is based solely on data, the teacher does not need significant interaction with, which makes it scalable and adaptable.
