MODELLING OF FRICTIONAL CONTACT AND LUBRICATION INFLUENCE ON TRIBOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS

UDC 621.396

A.A. Moiseev

Performed investigation goal is analysis of lubrication influence on frictional characteristics using boundary friction model. This model bases on Gercy – Streebeck curve, i.e. frictional coefficient dependence from Sommerfeld number. This modeling shows that wear and pollution of frictional contact reduce lubricating ability and efficiency because of boundary friction at wearing and viscous friction at pollution. Correspondent change of engine characteristics depends on used oil quality, dopant choice and frictional contact state. To estimate the influence of these factors some math models were created that characterize contact state on friction. Criterial model based on similarity theory allows perform wear forecasting and some standards synthesize for qualification tests. Lubricant influence on wear conditions on hardness reducing because of Rebinder effect. Estimation of corrosion wear influence based on equilibrium condition for corrosion solution and dissolved material diversion.

Keywords: internal combustion engines, frictional contact, motor oils, thermo – stabilizing dopants, Gercy – Streebeck curve, Rebinder effect, similarity criteria, frictional wear, corrosive wear.

THE TECHNIQUE OF CALCULATION THE PARAMETERS OF THE ELECTROMAGNETIC THE FIELDS SCATTERED BY THE BODY WITH COMPLEX FORM IN THE NEAR ZONE

UDC 621.396

J.Stefanovic, E.Ruzitsky

The paper is based on the methodology that uses the representation of an object of complex shape as a set of facets, we investigate the characteristics of scattered by this object in its near zone. It is shown how, using the calculated data to explore the effect of the spatial configuration of the field on the accuracy of measurement of angular coordinates of the object. The calculated dependence of the relative field amplitude of the object and the plate from the corner for the near zone to the far zone. The graphical analysis of the dependencies shows that in addition to monotonic attenuation length fields exist oscillating damped oscillations. It is believed that the antenna is moved around the object at random are averaged over all viewing angles characteristics of the scattered field. After calculating the parameters of the distribution law of a random variable from section to section, we can conclude about how changing the process in time. The analysis demonstrates that when we move from the far zone to the near, there is a shift of peak values of amplitudes and is an extension of the main lobe of the secondary radiation. The histograms of the distributions of amplitudes and phases of a complex object, after analysis it was found that the distribution of instantaneous values of the amplitudes of the scattered field by the object is described by Rayleigh. If we consider the distribution of the instantaneous phase of the scattered field, the shape of the histogram is close in form to the histogram of a uniform law. The analysis of the results allows to assert that the regularities of the distribution of values of amplitudes and phases of the scattered field related to the far and near zones will be the same.

THE SHORTCOMINGS IN THE USE OF ARTIFICIAL NEURAL NETWORKS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS OF BINARY CLASSIFICATION

UDC 681.3

N. I. Murashkin, V. N. Kostrova

The article aims at identifying problems of the use of artificial neural networks for solving problems of binary classification. For solving problems of binary classification it is expected to classify samples that are already available to a certain class. A leading approach to the study of this problem is the algorithm of Levenberg-Marquardt, which allows to optimize the parameters of nonlinear regression models. As optimization criterion is adopted to the root mean square error of the model on the training set. It is proposed to accelerate the computation to apply the method to the elastic distribution. The materials of the article are of practical value to professionals who use artificial neural networks for classification tasks.

Keywords: binary tasks, artificial neural networks, algorithm, algorithm of Levenberg-Marquardt, algorithm of Gauss-Newton, method of M. Riedmiller and G. Brown.

THE DESIGN CALCULATION METHOD OF WIDEBAND INTERFERENCE LASER PLATES POLARIZERS

UDC 535.345.67

L.A. Gubanova, D.N. Perevozkin

The interference plates-polarizers are widely used in optical devices, in particular, they are used in electrooptical Q-switches of pulsed solid-state lasers. The standard all-quarter-wave construction of the interference layers of the polarizer plates is characterized by a narrow band of the working spectral range, which does not fully correspond to modern requirements. A method is proposed for calculating the practically feasible designs of broadband interference polarizer plates, based on the alignment of the thicknesses of the layers included in the non-quarter-wave structures, synthesized using widespread computer software for the calculation of interference optical coatings.

Keywords: optical interference polarizer, polarization contrast, porous multilayer interference coating, OptiLayer, optimization.

THE SIMULATION OF THE SCATTERING OF PULSES OF RADIO WAVES ON HOLLOW STRUCTURE

UDC 621.396

V. V. Kostyuchenko, N.A.Ankina

On the basis of the method, allowing a numerical solution of the full system of Maxwell’s equations, carried out the study of the scattering of a pulse with nanosecond duration of the three-dimensional hollow structure of rectangular cross-section. The calculation of the shapes of the reflected signals for different ratios between the spatial lengths of the pulses and the size of the diffraction structure. It was demonstrated that the value of the effective area of the scattering hollow structures with sizes close to the spatial length of the radar pulse, will be about the same as in the case of scattering long (monochromatic) pulses.

Keywords: momentum, scattering, hollow structure, Maxwell equations, finite difference method in the time domain.

This paper considers the problem of scattering of electromagnetic impulse on the composite dielectric cylinder having upper and lower half-planes different values of impedance. The excitation of the cylinder is based on third-party third-party source, which are infinite along the sides of the thread. On the basis of Maxwell’s equations, the wave equation is derived. Determined green function of the composite impedance of the cylinder. Derived the expression for the impedance boundary conditions on the surface of the cylinder. The calculation of the magnetic component of the electromagnetic field in the far zone, depending on time for different values of the impedance cylinder.

In this paper we consider the problem of coding the data that can be stored on data carriers or transmitted over communication systems. The structure of communication systems, a description of the main constituent components. The classification of error-correcting codes. This description of a software product, which demonstrates how error-correcting codes. The results of research abilities-correcting codes, Hamming, Bose-Roy-Chowdhury-Hoquinghem and reed-Muller for the text file and for a file with the video format. Found that based on the Hamming code can be good to correct single errors, but it does not work for multiple. On the basis of the reed-müller code, also corrected various errors, but it is distorted less bits than code Bose-Roy-Chowdhury-Hoquinghem.
